In 2007, the Society of Oral History on Modern China (Hong Kong) was officially founded and registered as an academic, non-profit organization in Hong Kong. Our sister group in Hong Kong will also strive to promote, encourage, launch and work on the study of oral history on modern China, preserve, compile and publish historical records, as well as to carry on research on oral history of the War of Resistance in coordination with the Society in New York.
