The Society of Oral History on Modern China has obtained non-profit status. Any donation to the Society is tax deductible. We accept all donations that are free of restrictions to their usages.

Funds raised by the Society are used for supporting projects and the preservation and publication of valuable historical materials. When members of the Society conduct interviews, they pay the expense for the interview from their own pocket. All workers at the Society in Hong Kong and the US are volunteers.
